A: Initially, we were funded by Atlantic Bridge and Enterprise Ireland through a university seed fund – our first major contact involved discussions on the company's vision. Enterprise Ireland's investment allowed Equal1 to participate in the Disruptive Technology Innovation Fund (DTIF) project. This empowered us to hire our first 10 employees and collaborate with companies like Mastercard and IBM.

Over the past 12 to 18 months, their support has been invaluable for our international expansion, helping us to establish operations by providing local contacts. They've also introduced us to potential customers and collaborators, which was crucial as we moved towards commercialisation.

A: We have successfully hired a multidisciplinary team of PhDs, developed our quantum computing technology, grew to 36 employees across five locations & raised €25 million in investment to continue international expansion.
