Minister Calleary opens Source Civil’s new HQ in Donegal
Donegal based civil engineering company Source Civil Ltd today announced that it will grow its workforce to over 270 in the next twelve months with the creation of 50 new jobs. The announcement was made at the official opening of Source Civil’s new state-of-the-art offices in Donegal town, which is part of a €10 million investment by the company across a five-year period.
The new Source Civil headquarters in Donegal Town comes on the back of phenomenal growth for the company over the last number of years. The new office space and warehousing facility at Lurganboy, just outside the town underpins the company’s international expansion, out of which they will service customers in Germany, Holland, France and the UK. The new offices which are now operational and will facilitate the creation of 50 new jobs.
Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation Dara Calleary T.D welcomed the jobs announcement and officially opened the new 10,000 sq. ft Source Civil facility.

Enda Healy, Managing Director of Source Civil believes the new facility in Donegal Town will help the company become one of the leading Engineering firms in the country. “We are working extremely hard to transform Source Civil from an SME into an international brand. Building on our strong traditions and hard-earned reputation we are scaling up our business to secure a more sustainable future for all our staff,” he said.
He added “with this expansion come exciting career opportunities for quality engineers with a remit for our operations across Europe, as well as contract managers, site engineers, setting out engineers, planners, experienced foremen and pipe-layers,” commented Healy.
Source Civil Ltd has built up a strong reputation for producing high quality workmanship on time and on budget. Their clients are from both the public and private sectors, and they have taken on the roles of main contractor, project supervisor design stage (PSDP) and project supervisor construction stage (PSCS) in the civil engineering and building industry. They also work as a specialist Sub-Contractor on power projects including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Data Centres across Europe and the UK.
