Coroflo Announces Expansion And Opening Of New HQ

Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail Emer Higgins TD., today officially opened the new office space of consumer technology company, Coroflo, in DCU Alpha in Dublin. Coroflo, a pioneer in consumer medtech space has developed the world’s first accurate breast-feeding monitor, Coro. The company has successfully achieved technical and clinical validation, and having secured contracts with several pharmacy retail chains including McCabes and McCauleys is building production and launching ‘Coro’ to the market later this year. 

 

With a recent funding round of €3 million and a total investment to date of €6 million, Coroflo is set for a trajectory of swift and sustainable expansion. The company has doubled its workforce in the last six months and aims to further expand its workforce with six additional hires over the next 12 months. Coroflo has also recently appointed ex-Tánaiste Mary Harney to its board.

 

Speaking at the event Minister Emer Higgins, highlighted the government’s endorsement of Coroflo’s contribution and commitment to technological innovation and employment growth. “I am delighted to join Coroflo today to celebrate the opening of their new office space and the announcement of job growth here in Ireland. Coroflo’s technology is a game changer in helping to support and equip breastfeeding mothers to monitor milk intake during those formative weeks and months following a new arrival. Today’s announcement paves the way for this innovative company to grow and scale. The Government, through Enterprise Ireland, looks forward to continued engagement with Coroflo to support the growth of the business into the future.”
