Access Silicon Valley Programme
Access Silicon Valley was developed to help Irish companies deliver tangible strategies and market entry plans relevant to the Silicon Valley and San Francisco market. It will provide insights into the nuts and bolts of launching your company or product in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, including the funding required to do so. It will drive participating companies to create sales plan relevant to the Silicon Valley and San Francisco marketplace and to identify key sales and partnership targets. It covers business/cultural differences and has a strong focus on pitching and presenting. The programme will be delivered by US Market Access Centre (USMAC) who will work intensively with participating companies over 3 phases. Graduates 4 International Growth (G4IG)
The Graduates 4 International Growth (G4IG) initiative brings together a graduate and a company that are both focused on making a lasting impact in overseas markets. Graduates, with the potential to be the next generation of business development executives, will be matched with ambitious internationally trading companies, and will be provided with a structured means of acquiring new skills in international business. The International Selling Programme
The International Selling Programme is Enterprise Ireland's flagship programme designed to equip Irish companies with the necessary capability to deepen their presence in an existing international market or enter a new international market. Delivered in partnership with Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), this practical programme will deliver a real and immediate impact on your company's ability to access new markets and grow export sales. Excel at Export Selling
As a parallel and complementary offer to the International Selling Programme, Enterprise Ireland has developed a series of workshops aimed at rapidly embedding the proven tools of best international selling practice into Irish companies across all industry sectors who are looking to upskill for export growth and who want access to selling skills development in a readily accessible and user-friendly format. Drawing on the collective experience of our team of international market advisers and responding to consistent feedback from the customers and target customers of Irish companies, the Excel at Export Selling Workshop Series maintains a deliberate focus on the three fundamental building blocks of successful international selling: developing a compelling Customer Value Proposition, following a systematic repeatable Sales Process and executing a well-defined Route to Market strategy. Each workshop is one day in duration and offers an individual company follow-up session with the expert facilitators to maximise impact. Participation in both elements of the programme – the workshop and follow-up session (usually 2-4 weeks after the workshop) - is essential to successful implementation. Exploring Exporting Workshops
Exploring Exporting is a series of two one-day workshops, focused on helping first-time exporting companies become export ready. Topics include conducting market research, defining your export value-proposition, processes for exporting and the exportable offer. Internet Marketing Unit
Enterprise Ireland’s Internet Marketing Unit is focused on helping client companies to exploit the Internet as a route-to-market, and to assist companies develop a strategy that will shape how they do business online. Companies can request the appointment of a Mentor from the Enterprise Ireland Mentor Network to advise on issues relating to developing and executing an international sales strategy. For more information, go to Mentor Grant.
In-Market Business Accelerators
Enterprise Ireland can help companies retain the services of a Business Accelerator - an industry expert within a specific sector and market, with the experience, knowledge and contacts to support the company’s expansion and development into an export market. In-market Business Accelerators come from the front lines of industry worldwide, with the relevant sales and marketing experience to advise and guide Irish companies to accelerate their growth in the market and build scale.
Business Accelerators are chosen on the basis of their extensive industry experience and track record of success, and includes:
- Senior executives from in-market technology, services, manufacturing or distribution companies.
- Irish executives (based in the target market) who have succeeded in an overseas market.
- Senior local buyers, influencers or industry specialists.
- Executives from headquarters of multinational companies with plants in Ireland.
- Early or recently retired senior executives with appropriate commercial experience and contacts.
Each assignment will be tailored to the company’s specific needs. Business Accelerators will facilitate:
- Market entry and business expansion.
- Access to high-level market contacts.
- Enhanced strategic and actionable in-market information.
- Access to new technology.
- Valuable feedback on product/service offerings.
- Better strategic marketing focus and direction.

Selling to the Public Sector in Ireland and Internationally
Enterprise Ireland is committed to working with client companies and buyers to facilitate and maximise the contract opportunities available through the public sector.
