6th June, 2019
With a focus on targeting significant export growth to the Asia Pacific region, Enterprise Ireland will bring together 150 business leaders from the Asia Pacific region and 200 Irish companies for the Enterprise Ireland Ambition Asia Pacific Conference at the Aviva Stadium next Thursday 13th June. The event will be officially opened by Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen TD.
Announcing details of the Ambition Asia Pacific Conference, Tom Cusack, Enterprise Ireland’s Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region said “As the world’s fastest growing region, Asia Pacific is increasingly on the radar of CEOs of globally ambitious Irish companies who recognise the vast untapped potential of this dynamic and influential region. The region’s size, economic growth rates and increasing accessibility presents a huge opportunity for Irish exporters. Over 600 Enterprise Ireland companies are currently exporting to the regions with exports of over €2bn, but a third of all our clients are focused on expanding into this market, with Asian economies forecast to be larger than the rest of the world combined by 2020.”
“With over 150 CEOs, market experts and buyers from the AsiaPacific region attending the conference, Irish companies will have an opportunity to engage with senior decision makers from across the region and learn from key market experts on the growth potential in the Asia Pacific region, particularly across key sectors including Aviation, Financial Services, Electronics, Digital Technology and International Education. If you’ve got the global ambition to enter and scale in the Asia Pacific region, the Ambition Asia Pacific Conference is the best place to start.” added Tom Cusack.
